Nita Joyce Boutin peacefully passed away at her home in Oakdale, California, Friday, June 25, 2021 at the age of 90. Nita was born October 3, 1930 in Marble Falls, Texas. At the age of 10, Nita and her family moved to California and settled in the Escalon area. Nita attended and graduated from Escalon High School. During her career, she worked as a Secretary and transcribing for Doctors. After retiring from Stanislaus County, she enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking meals for her family and baking delicious goodies.
Nita is survived by her children, Ronald and Stanley Rieger of Oakdale, Janice Lelieur of Modesto; grandson, John Lelieur of Modesto and two great-grandsons, Johnathan and Joshua Lelieur of Modesto. She is also survived by her siblings, Nella Sorrenti of Oakdale, George H. Koch of Oakdale and Seth Koch of Farmington.
A graveside service was held Friday, July 30, 2021 at Valley Home Memorial Park. In Lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Community Hospice, 4368 Spyres Way, Modesto, CA 95356.
