Maurice Donadio, 89, of Escalon died Tuesday, May 27 at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson.

Born on July 12, 1918 in Escalon, he lived in the area his entire life.

He was a retired truck driver.

Mr. Donadio was a very happy man who loved to joke around with people. He loved life, people and his animals and never had an enemy. He enjoyed going out to breakfast every morning with his friends to Perko's Café in Modesto.

Survivors include Joe and Cheryl Silva of Escalon, and his first cousin Theodore Cadlolo of Escalon.

He was preceded in death by his wife Jessie over 10 years ago.

Visitation was Monday, June 2 at Deegan Funeral Chapel in Escalon with a graveside service Monday at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
