Mary Etta Green, 77, died March 29, 2018 with her loving husband, children and niece surrounding her.
Mary was born November 16, 1940 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Mary was residing in Manteca and had been for many previous decades a resident of Escalon, CA.
Mary devoted her life to her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, family, friends and all who needed a listening ear.
Mary’s life passion was living for the Lord and being a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She was also very proud to be a member of the Manteca Doctors Hospital Auxiliary. Mary loved to sing worship songs.
Mary is survived by her husband Clarence Green of Manteca, CA; her daughters, Julia Donovan and husband Sean of Sunnyvale, CA; Shari Green-White of Escalon, CA; Lola Jordan and her husband Larry of Blythewood, SC; her son Gene Green and his wife Lisa of Modesto, CA; her grandsons Brandon (wife Anissa) O’Hanley and Joshua (wife Dari), Garrett (wife Haily) and Ethan Green; and her granddaughters Meagan Land (husband Matt), Sarah White and Madison Green; and her brothers Raymond (wife Sue) and Charles (wife Patsy) Breshears along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Mary is preceded in death her parents Sheridan and Odessa Breshears as well as sisters Loretta and Nellie and brothers Kenneth, Donald and Sheridan.
Services will be held at Escalon’s First Baptist Church at 1511 Catherine Ave., Escalon, CA on Friday, April 6 at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the American Heart Association or Escallonia Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star in Escalon, CA where Mary had been serving as Grand Representative of Alabama in CA, Worthy Matron and past Deputy Grand Matron.
