Mary Ann Cox, 52, of Escalon died on Monday, May 6.

Born in Oakdale, CA on Sept. 11, 1960 to Henry and Elsie Cox, she was the third of five children. She grew up in a close, loving and Christian home.

Mary loved the ocean, which she visited often. She loved spending time with her grandsons, nieces, and nephews, all of whom she made feel very special.

Despite her illness, Mary’s love for life was contagious. You would never find her having a bad day. Even when she was sick, she never complained. Her beautiful smile would light up a room and will be truly missed.

Survivors include her mother, Elsie; sisters, Kathy, Judy, and Lisa; brother, Steven; her daughter, Anna and her son, Lane; grandsons Noah, Elijah, Andrew and Ethan; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Cox, as well as grandmothers, grandfathers, aunts, and uncles.

She was an amazing woman and will be missed by many.

Visitation was Monday, May 13 and a graveside service at Burwood Cemetery was held on Tuesday, May 14.
