Martin Andreas Schuler, age 71, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Holy Cross Davis Hospital in Layton, Utah. He was born November 18, 1952 in Escalon, California to Martin and Louise (Kuttle) Schuler. Martin spent the majority of his life in Escalon, where he attended school, graduated Escalon High School in 1971, married Debra Altamirano in 1975, and raised a family. He recently retired and purchased a home in Utah. During his lifetime Martin worked on the family ranch as a dairy farmer, grew walnuts and almonds, was a beekeeper, a diesel mechanic and worked for the San Joaquin Irrigation District. Martin loved to travel anywhere tropical and had a passion for fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Debi; his three daughters Janelle Schuler, Melanie (Joseph) Archuleta and Wendy (Jason) Garza; brother Arnold Schuler and six grandchildren. Martin was a wonderful and loving man who will be surely missed by his family and many friends. Please join his family in celebrating his life on June 8 at D’Boni’s Pizza from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
