Margaret Ann Dugo Catrina, beloved mother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and her adored dog, Purdy on November 2, 2017 at the age of 68. Margaret was born on November 14, 1948 to Thomas and Lydia Dugo in Escalon, California and has been a lifelong resident ever since. She will always be remembered as a kind-hearted woman who made every person she met feel special and let them know that they had purpose in life. Her family and friends fondly remember her spending time in the kitchen, cooking and baking, creating memories that will never be forgotten. The legacy that Margaret left is the foundation of her children to carry on the traditions that she held dear to her heart.
Margaret leaves behind her children, Laura Marie Catrina (Joe Rampoldi) and Danny Catrina and her siblings, Charles Dugo (Kay), Helen Dugo Bordona (Tom) and Rosalie Dugo Ennis (David), along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Margaret is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Melvin Dugo.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Deegan Funeral Chapel. A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, November 9 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with recitation of the rosary beginning at 6 p.m. at Deegan Chapel in Escalon. A funeral mass is scheduled for Friday, November 10 at 1 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Escalon.
Donations in Margaret’s memory can be made to Community Hospice.
