Manuel Nunes, 67, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 28 in Delhi.
He is survived by his wife of four years Maria J. Nunes; his mother Maria L. Nunes; his children Diane Nunes of Escalon, Steve Nunes of Stockton, Cathy Wildenberg of Oakdale, Sandy Anderson of Escalon, David Nunes of Escalon and Tom Nunes of Escalon; his grandchildren Luke and Logan Anderson and Anthony and Marie Wildenberg; and his siblings Arthur Nunes, John Nunes, Pete Nunes, Joe Nunes, Maria Texiera, Beatrice Lourcenco, and Helen Roman.
He was preceded in death by his father Manuel A. Nunes; his brothers Jose L. Nunes, Luis Nunes, and Stanley Nunes; and the mother of his children, Maria G. Nunes.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 5 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Deegan Funeral Chapel, 1441 San Joaquin St. in Escalon; his Rosary will be on Thursday, March 5 at 7:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Assumption, 2602 So. Walnut in Turlock. His Mass will be on Friday, March 6 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Highway 120 in Escalon with burial following at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
