Luigi Paul DaDalt (aka Louie Jr., Dad and Nonno) passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017. He was known and loved by many. He was an avid hunter and golfer. An active member of the Italian Sporting Club SIRS 142 ICF, he also belonged to the Escalon Sportsman Club. He loved the outdoors and working in his garden. He was someone who loved being with friends and family especially his grandchildren. One of his greatest assets was joking and making people laugh.
He married his wife of 55 years Silvana Cauz, that he had known since they were children. He is survived by his wife Silvana; children Karin (Thomas) Brumley and Daren (Dawn) DaDalt; four grandchildren: Kaitlin, Trent and Brad DaDalt and Dominic Brumley; two step-grandchildren Natalie and Conley Souza; sisters Norma Marchesin, Linda (Gary) Romano and Janet Smith. He is preceded in death by his parents Luigi and Erma DaDalt; brother John; brother-in-laws John Marchesin and Howard Smith; and his in-laws Sante and Angela Cauz.
Friends and family are invited to the following services, Viewing: 9:15 a.m., Rosary: 9:30 a.m., Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. All services will be held on Friday, March 10th at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 1 Notre Dame Ave., San Mateo, CA.
