Loren Ross Allison, 72, passed away at his home in Oakdale on May 2, 2008.
He was born on May 30, 1935 in Boone, Iowa and served in the Marine Corps from 1955 to 1959. He was employed at United Can until his retirement in 1994.
Survivors include his daughter, Lori Allison Armstrong of Escalon; his son, Larry Allison of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; brother, Denny Allison of Hayward; seven grandchildren, Paige Armstrong, Brooke Armstrong and Kelli Armstrong, all of Escalon, Danny Allison of Oakdale, Monica French of Turlock, Keven Turner and Kyle Turner of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; and one great grandchild.
A service will be held on Wednesday, May 7 at 11 a.m. at Deegan Funeral Chapel, 1441 San Joaquin St., Escalon.
Memorial donations may be sent to Saron Lutheran Church, 1742 North St., Escalon, CA 95320.
