Lonnie C. Renfroe Sr., 97, passed away on Tuesday, May 5 at the Dale Commons in Modesto.

He was born in Green Forest, Arkansas on February 14, 1912. He was a poultry & egg rancher for over 40 years, and was a member of the Escalon United Methodist Church for 60 years.

Mr. Renfroe and his wife Corabeth were great travelers, going around the world at least four times, as well as the USA many times. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Corabeth; his son, Lonnie C. Renfroe Jr. and daughter-in-law Dee Renfroe of Modesto; his grandchildren, Julie Renfroe of Modesto and Lonnie Renfroe III also of Modesto; and two great-grandchildren.

Services were Friday, May 8 at Deegan Funeral Chapel in Escalon. Burial was private.
