Lois Hendrix-Baughman

Lois Cylena Hendrix-Baughman, 83, died Wednesday, Nov. 10.

She was born Oct. 21, 1927. She was a great seamstress, crocheting beautiful doilies and afghans. She was the ultimate housewife, always ready to help others, and was a fantastic cook.

Survivors include her loving husband of 18 years, T.J. Baughman of Escalon; her son Robert and his wife Carolyn Hendrix of Valley Springs; her daughter Cheryl Winter of Riverbank; her sister, Thelma Frank of Escalon; and her grandchildren, Cari Hendrix-Schweickert and her husband Graham of Valley Springs, Rodney Hendrix and his wife Jennifer of Murphys, Greg Nobles and his wife Nicole of Waterford, Kristofer Winter and his wife Jaime of Modesto, Brandi Hawkins of Riverbank; and 13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edmon Myrl Hendrix, married for 43 years; and her great granddaughter, Alivia Hope Nobles.

A memorial service was held Monday, Nov.15 at Trinity Church, Assembly of God in Escalon, with burial following at Burwood Cemetery.
