Lee Ann Thurmon, 57, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, Nov. 19.
She was born on April 27, 1950 in Turlock. She was a resident of Modesto for the past year, and previously she lived in Santa Cruz where she loved to sit on the beach. She enjoyed life and was always smiling; she enjoyed reading and music but her passion was learning, she was a student of history and art.
Survivors include her parents Norwood and Bette Simms of Modesto; her sister Evelyn Sandholm of Watsonville; her brother Doug and his wife Debi Simms of Escalon; and her brother Steven Simms of Salida.
