Joseph (Joe) H. Price Sr. of Escalon, CA passed on June 16, 2016 at Kaiser Hospital, Modesto. Joe was 80 years old. Joe was born on February 22, 1936 in Callaway, Nebraska. Joe is survived by his wife Marge, sister Lillie Belle, son Joseph Price Jr., daughter-in-law Sheri Price, daughter Kristi Pelot, son-in-law Joe Pelot and many nieces and nephews.
Joe served his country in the Air Force where he worked as a flight mechanic. After his military service Joe became a truck driver for J.M. Equipment for 37 years. Joe also served the community as a volunteer for 23 years with the Ripon Fire District. Joe’s past time was spent farming, spending time with his family and fishing.
There will be a viewing on Friday June 24, 2016 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Deegan Funeral Chapel in Escalon. Services will be held on Saturday June 25, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Deegan Funeral Chapel in Escalon with a reception following at the Masonic Lodge in Escalon. Private graveside burial.
