Jerry Stephen Pricolo, 82, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 24 at Kaiser Hospital in Modesto.

Born on July 7, 1927, he was born and raised in Stockton and moved to Escalon in 1996. He continued to work until he was 80 years old. He worked for Richmond Chase, Cal Can (California Canners & Growers), Tri Valley, and Delta Rubber as a mechanic.

Affiliations included Teamsters, American Legion, Independent Order of Foresters, and the Sea Cadets. He also served in the United States Navy in his younger years. His hobbies included gardening, canning, hunting, boating, photography, cooking and trips in his R.V. with his wife and grandchildren, Jerry and Trevor Pricolo, who reside with them.

Survivors include his loving wife of over 50 years, Beverly Yvonne Pricolo; four daughters and their spouses, Diane and Pete Peterson of Escalon, Toni and Dave Boyle of Reno, Nickie and Sanford Fox of Escalon, and Kathy Pricolo of Stockton; sister-in-law Patricia Sholer; 18 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren, plus numerous nieces and nephews and many loving friends. He will be missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony Pricolo and Theresa "Mimi" Pierce Pricolo Jones.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 2 p.m. at United Methodist Church, 2000 Jackson Ave., Escalon.

Donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association (AHA) or a charity of choice in lieu of flowers.
