Gloria DeeLynn Casazza, 66, passed away on Friday, April 15 in Manteca, surrounded by loving family.

She was born on March 5, 1945 in Oakland, raised in Escalon, graduated from Escalon High School, and moved to Manteca where she spent the rest of her life. She and her husband, Robert, were married for 43 years and lived in Manteca for 37 years with their sons.

She will always be remembered as a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She was employed as a beautician and as a weighmaster for Escalon Premier Brands for many years. She enjoyed ceramics, watching movies, painting, cooking, camping, and animals. She always had a positive attitude and a free-spirit and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Bob; two children, Ryan and Andrew; six grandchildren, Ashley, Nick, and Clay Casazza of Russellville, AR; Mia Casazza of Manteca, Giselle Casazza and Natasha Casazza, both of Stockton; her sister, Ramona Avina of Modesto; brothers Tim Schneider, Mulberry, AR, Edward Schneider, Modesto, Raymond Schneider, Oregon, and Rodney Schneider, Turlock.

Services were Thursday, April 21 at Deegan Funeral Chapel, Escalon, with burial following at Burwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association.
