Glen Langum

Glen A. Langum, 88, of Modesto died Tuesday, Dec. 7 at Vintage Faire Nursing Home, Modesto. He was born in Cisco, Arkansas and had lived in Escalon for 71 years prior to spending the past two years in Modesto.

He was a farmer and rancher and also drove a bus for 27 years for the Escalon School District.

Survivors include his children, Roy Langum, Glen Langum Jr., John Langum, Gene Langum and Ted Langum, all of Escalon and Don Langum of Modesto; brothers, Leonard Langum of Ripon and Paul Langum of Manteca; 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eula Langum, in 1991.

Visitation was Thursday, Dec. 9 at Deegan Funeral Home, Escalon. Graveside services were at Burwood Cemetery, River Road, on Friday, Dec. 10.
