Geraldine Austin, 71, of Escalon, passed away peacefully in her home on November 1, 2021.
She was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Christian Edgar Paull and Bertha Frances Chandler on December 13, 1949.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 32 years, Todd D. Austin and siblings Barry Paull, Leslie Paull, and Bobbie Biggerstaff.
She is survived by two children: Genny Biffaretti of Los Molinos and Robert Cain Jr. of Oakdale. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Francine Hoofard, Christina Biffaretti, and Julianne Willis, three great grandchildren: Allison, Kaelin, and Riley, and her soon to be great grandson Mikah.
She is also survived by her little dog “Red.”
Gerry loved life. She loved her family and spending time with them as they were the most important part of her life. She loved music, concerts, dancing, and traveling with family. She had a heart for animals and rescued many dogs and numerous cats during her life.
She was a survivor, and a fighter to the end. She will be greatly missed for so many reasons; her caring, her compassion, but most of all, for the way she loved.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
