Funeral services were private for Evelyn Vera Wilder, 92, who died on Monday, July 15, 2013 in Modesto.

A native of Topeka, Kansas and a resident of Escalon, she was the daughter of the late Owen and Alice Goodnow of Kansas. She was born June 11, 1921.

Mrs. Wilder was a long-time resident of Stockton.

Survivors include her husband Bob Wilder of Escalon; two grandchildren Kim Berry and Jeff Nayer, both of Escalon; three great-grandchildren Blake Nayer, Jack Berry and Brooklyn Berry, all of Escalon.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jack Nayer.

Arrangements handled by Deegan Funeral Chapel of Escalon.
