Erbie Lee Monroe, 94, of Oakdale died at home on Friday, April 22.
Born Dec. 18, 1916, Mr. Monroe was a native of Arkansas, and a long time resident of Escalon. He was a builder in the Escalon area for fifty years.
Survivors include two sons, Tom Monroe of New Mexico and Terry Monroe of Arkansas; two brothers, John Monroe of Arizona and Bill Monroe of Texas; one sister, Chloe Flatt of Oklahoma; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was a wonderful man who was loved and will be missed by many.
Graveside services were held Friday, April 29 at Burwood Cemetery in Escalon.
