EDDIE HARRISON
HARRISON k

Eddie Harrison passed away on March 26, 2018 at the age of 80. Eddie was born August 7, 1937 in Lawton, Oklahoma. He has been a resident of Escalon for the past 60 years.
After high school, Eddie served in the Navy for four years. Once honorably discharged, he found his place at the Tracy Defense Depot where he worked for 34 years as a supervisor. After retiring, Eddie then spent 10 years as a park ranger at Oakwood Park.
An avid storyteller, Eddie enjoyed telling of his adventures throughout his life (some true, others as imaginative as can be), inspired by his many road-trips with his family and friends. Some of his many hobbies included bargaining at garage sales, being a devoted 49ers, Warriors, and Giants fan, tending his beautiful garden of roses, vegetables, and fruit trees, and hosting barbeques with his family and friends.
Eddie is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Faye, his siblings, Dwight, Jimmy, Katherine, and Phil, and his daughter, Lori.
Eddie is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sharon, three daughters, Robin Harrison of Oakdale, CA, Shelly Jones of Oakdale, CA, and Shannon Grossi (Larry) of Escalon, CA, two sons, Todd Harrison of Sonora, CA and Joshua Harrison (Cindy) of Fort Carson, CO, 11 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Family and friends were very important to Eddie. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.
