Donald Ray Batterton, 64, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 3 at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.
He was born on May 21, 1944 in French Camp, and had been an Escalon resident for the past 40 years.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Virginia; his children, Robert Batterton and Terry Gannon, both of Escalon; his grandchildren, Robert Batterton of Stockton, Christina Batterton of Lodi, Trish Ware of Westley, Samantha Batterton of Lodi, Sarah Klick of Escalon, Robin Batterton of Lodi and Gina Batterton of Escalon; six great grandchildren; and his sisters, Jewel Lair of Lodi and Dorthy Bratcher of Stockton.
Services will be private; cremation will be scattered over the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
