Candace Marie Rocha was born on May 6, 1953, in Oakdale, California to Catherine and Tony Rocha, Jr. She grew up in Escalon on her parent’s dairy farm. She worked at Bender’s Bakery, Head Start and was a weighmaster on her family’s dairy. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Escalon C.A.R.E. She loved Elvis, Harley Davidsons, and eagles, which she enjoyed collecting memorabilia of these. Candace also loved going to Santa Cruz.

Candace was called home by our Lord on January 19, 2024, at her home in Escalon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Catherine Rocha and her sister, Carolyn. She is survived by the joy of her life, her great nephew Stephen Ferrea; her siblings, Anthony Rocha (Nancy), Frank Rocha (Kathy), Tricia Bonds (Stan); numerous nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews as well as one great-great nephew. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Deegan Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the Rocha family. A funeral service for Candace will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with the viewing at 9:30 a.m., Rosary at 10 a.m., Mass at 10:30 a.m. followed by the Committal at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery.
