Bonneta Benson, 77, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 5 at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson.
She was born on Oct. 29, 1931 in Neodesha, Kansas and had been a resident of Escalon for the past 64 years.
She was a very loving wife, mother, grandma and great grandma.
She loved the Lord with all of her heart and she loved helping people, if you needed Bonneta she was always there. She loved being with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband Donald Benson, married for 51 ½ years; her children, Lori Munoz and husband Andy of Escalon and Scott Benson and wife LaVonda of Modesto; her grandchildren Angela Guevara and husband Rick of Escalon, Janay Seay of Modesto and Julien Nelson of Modesto; and her great grandchildren Alex Guevara of Escalon, Emma Guevara of Escalon and Braiden Nelson of Modesto.
She was preceded in death by her parents George and Stella Murken and her brothers Donald Murken and Merlin (Red) Murken.
Visitation was Tuesday, Feb. 10 at Deegan Chapel, Escalon. Graveside service will be on Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 10 a.m. at Burwood Cemetery, Escalon.
