Betty Grace Caudle passed on away on Wednesday, March 2 at home surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Rome, GA in 1929, she had been a Californian since 1952. She and her family lived in Southern California for many years. With her husband James, she had been a Sacramento resident for 31 years. They were blessed with 54 years of happiness as husband and wife.

She brought many talents and gifts of heart and spirit to this life. Hardly a person who met her was not touched and blessed by her extraordinary personality.

Survivors include her husband James; son Mike and family of Jackson, GA, daughter DeLois Avana and family of Modesto, and daughter Becky Claunch and family of Modesto; seven grandchildren, David McDonald, Michael Caudle, Jr., Gary Caudle, Wesley McDonald, Betty Perales, Benjamin Claunch, Kacie Caudle, and their spouses; 10 great-grandchildren; sister Doris Acker of Georgia, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Pardue; brother Frankie Dunn; and sister Joan Dunn.

Services were Tuesday, March 8 at Deegan Funeral Chapel with burial following at Burwood Cemetery, Escalon.
