Several members of the Escalon-Farmington Community Garden Club gathered for a work day recently, potting plants that will be up for sale during the club’s upcoming Plant Sale on Saturday, April 1. Club members, from left, include Amanda Taylor, Lynda Stagno, Linda Zier, Donna Martin and Lorraine Nicholson. The sale will be hosted at the Escalon United Methodist Church, 2000 Jackson Ave., Escalon from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will feature flowers, vegetables, succulents, annuals and more for sale. All are encouraged to attend. Proceeds will benefit the group’s charitable projects, including their scholarship fund for area students.
