Two more victims of the 'Speed Freak Killers' in San Joaquin County have been identified, decades after their disappearance.

San Joaquin County Sheriff Steve Moore made the announcement at a Friday press conference, along with representatives from the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Senior Resident Agent Todd Irinaga, and California Department of Justice (DOJ), Bureau of Forensic Services Bureau Chief Jill Spriggs.

Moore announced that the San Joaquin County Coroner's Office, with the assistance from an Odontologist, an Anthropologist and the California Department of Justice (DOJ), Bureau of Forensic Services had made identifications of two of the possible three skeletal remains located in the well on Flood Road in Linden, just northeast of Farmington.

The remains for 19 year old Kimberly Billy were identified, through examinations by the Odontologist, Anthropologist and DNA testing by the DOJ lab, using Nuclear DNA.

The remains for Joann Hobson were preliminarily identified through examinations by the Odontologist, Anthropologist and DNA testing by the DOJ lab, using Myochondrial DNA.

The following information was provided about the victims of Loren Herzog and Wesley Shermantine.

Kimberly Billy A.K.A Kimberly Harr:

On Dec. 27, 1984, 19-year-old Kimberly Billy was reported missing to the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office. Kimberly's grandmother told deputies that she last spoke with Kimberly on Dec. 11, 1984; however, Billy had not called or been seen since that date and she feared for her safety after Billy did not contact her or other family members over the Christmas holiday.

Joann Hobson:

On Sept. 10, 1985, Joann Hobson was reported missing to the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office.

Joann's mother told the responding deputies that Hobson, 16 years old at the time, had last been seen on Aug. 29, approximately 12 days before the reporting. Hobson's mother said that prior to contacting deputies, she had checked with relatives, acquaintances and Hobson's friends throughout the east Stockton neighborhood where they resided for sightings of her daughter, to no avail.

Efforts are continuing to identify additional skeletal remains recovered from the Linden well of possibly a third person who may have fallen victim to Shermantine and Herzog.

Shermantine provided information regarding the well and other possible sites where he and Herzog are believed to have dumped bodies of those they killed during a lengthy partnership in crime.

"All involved parties are working towards one common goal," said Sheriff Moore, "to bring missing loved ones home to their families."
