As the community works its way through all the festivities associated with Park Fete Week, the main celebration will be centered downtown, in and around the Main Street Park, on Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25. Escalon Lions Club is the sponsoring organization for the fete.

One of the most well-attended events of the annual Park Fete is the Saturday morning parade and organizers said it will once again feature a wide variety of entries, from floats to classic cars, dancing horses to community service clubs.

Named as the 2026 Grand Marshal was Ronee Van Dyk, who will ride in a place of honor near the start of the parade, which steps off at 10:30 a.m.

Van Dyk is the CEO and Contractor of Van Dyk Construction and also currently serves as secretary for the Escalon High School Sports Boosters. She serves as a board member for the Valley Builders Exchange and also served a term on the Escalon Planning Commission.

She has coached multiple youth sports teams in Escalon and also has donated thousands of dollars to local non-profits and high school athletics.

Her contributions to the community – both past and ongoing – will be honored as she is recognized as the 2026 Grand Marshal.

Park Fete runs Friday afternoon, July 24 and on in to the evening, with festivities all day Saturday, July 25 including the downtown parade lining up on Coley Avenue starting at 9:30 a.m., stepping off at 10:30 a.m. and following a route from Coley, on to First, then turning on to Main.
