Next up in the Escalon FFA is a schedule jam packed with activities, meetings, and competitions all to help grow our members into active participants with a passion for agriculture. One of the newer traditions that we are getting the ball rolling with is the third annual Ag Day, a yearly event created to help inspire eighth graders from the community, allowing them to see different opportunities and skills gained through their membership in the Escalon FFA.
A way to recognize the hard work our members do throughout the year, our annual banquet gives awards and recognition for the judging teams and SAE projects they exceeded in. Judging team competitions is another exciting activity that students are going to be participating in, where they get to show off all their skills in various competitions that range from public speaking to ag mechanics. Stay tuned to hear more about the activities that we have in store for the FFA members and the community for the rest of this school year.
