Back for another year, the annual Tea and Trumpets Fundraiser is on the schedule for Saturday, March 9.

Hosted at the Escalon High School cafeteria, this is an Old Fashioned Garden Tea Party and is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Presented by the Escalon Chamber of Commerce, Sonya Huff returns to host and said this year will feature a number of musical performances by Escalon High School singers and musicians.

“This is a great event for little girls, big girls and even daddies,” Huff said, welcoming all who want to enjoy tea, snacks, desserts and the chance to support students. “This event helps support scholarships at EHS for an art and music student with the proceeds of this Garden Tea Party.”

There will be a ‘Best Hat’ contest, raffle drawings, a wide variety of teas and plenty of snacks to sample.

Tickets are $15 per person. An added feature is the chance to reserve a ‘private garden booth’ at a cost of $60, complete with a private server for your entire group.

For more information or to purchase tickets, contact Huff at 209-484-4465 or Debbie Murken at 209-402-0505.
