The annual Nuts For Life drive thru tri tip fundraiser was once again hosted under rainy conditions on Saturday, March 2. Shown, team members Robert Bomer and Evette Quiroz brave the raindrops to deliver another meal at the drive thru site at Saron Lutheran Church while inside the church, an assembly-line style set up sees plenty of volunteers bagging up the meals for delivery. Team officials said 175 dinners were prepared and sold; the event helps the team raise money for the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life event.
