Seniors Plan Fun Bunch Gathering For November

Members of the Escalon Senior Fun Bunch will get together for a special November event, set for Wednesday, Nov. 17. Being hosted at the Escalon Community Center from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.; the theme will be ‘Thankfulness.”

Entertainment will be by Doug Gilham, a retired music teacher and guitarist; guest speaker will be Michelle Morales, Resource Specialist for Foster Care and Adoption from Sierra Vista Child and Family Services.

There will also be an opportunity for attendees to shop or browse at the Fun Bunch Christmas Market and there will also be food, Bingo games, prizes and more.

All area senior citizens are welcome and encouraged to attend.

For those that would like to donate homemade or handcrafted items for the Christmas Market, you are asked to be at the Nov. 17 event at 1:30 p.m. to set up your items for display. Call Cindy for more information, 209-401-8295.

Also, a reminder that the Senior Steppers walking group continues to meet for a morning walk and conversation on Mondays and Fridays, 10 a.m., at Brentwood Park, corner of Mission and Justin streets.
