It was the annual Bunco/Baked Potato Bar night put on at Saron Lutheran Church in Escalon, with a good crowd once again turning out for the fundraising event, hosted Sept. 9. Teresa Duchscher was putting some tickets in the drawings for prizes – she did go home a winner – while others used a break in the Bunco playing to hit the dessert table, with plenty of treats to choose from. The evening started out with the baked potato bar which also featured chili, salads, fruit and beverages. The games and prize drawings followed; all proceeds benefit the Escalon Ministerial Association for its holiday meals voucher program.
