San Joaquin Superior Court has just announced the restoration of the Clerk’s Office hours. Beginning Monday, July 1, 2019, the Clerk’s Office and phone hours will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, except Court holidays.

San Joaquin Superior Court is using additional court funding to expand hours, maximizing access to justice and meeting community expectations. To that end, in addition to increasing hours, San Joaquin will soon offer e-filing for those customers who do not want to stand in line at the filing counter, or who want to file after business hours. Also, improvements to the court’s case management system will soon be rolled out allowing parties and attorneys greater access to cases.

Presiding Judge Linda L. Lofthus said “We are grateful for Governor Newsom’s support to the Judicial Branch and Chief Justice Cantil-Sakauye’s leadership. As San Joaquin Superior Court recovers from a severe deficit, we are pleased to move forward, expanding needed services to the public.”
