San Joaquin Fair Opens On Friday

Three days of fun, entertainment, exhibits and more are on the schedule with the 2023 San Joaquin Fair beginning on Friday, June 2. The fair continues Saturday, June 3 and Sunday, June 4 with gates opening each day at 11 a.m.

The fairgrounds are at 1658 Airport Way, Stockton. Along with the traditional carnival rides and fair food options, there will be daily entertainment including Flo the Clown, JD Platt and the K9 Kings, Steve’s Fun Balloons, Jeremy the Juggler and Violin on Fire.

Entertainment on the Main Stage will include Country Night on Friday and Rock Tributes on Saturday. Cynthia Renee and Co. and Thunder Rolls – a Tribute to Garth Brooks will be featured on Friday, June 2. The Sticky Stones and Cougar Adams take center stage for the Saturday, June 3 Rock Tribute night. Sunday, June 4 will include Voces Del Rancho, Banda La Maxima and Ultimo Nivel on stage.

There will also be grandstand events from quad racing Delta Dirt Drags and the Kids Zone will present free interactive activities for kids each day as well.

Carnival hours for the midway rides and games are noon to 10:30 p.m. each day and the last gate entry will be at 9:30 p.m.; closing hours for the grounds and carnival are subject to change by fair officials on a nightly basis.

Parking during the San Joaquin County Fair is $10 per vehicle, including motorcycles, on a space available basis.

General admission is $10 at the gate for those 13 and older; $7 for those 6 to 12 years old and 62 or better; children five and younger are admitted free. Single day unlimited carnival wristbands are $35 at the event.
