There may not be any “free lunch” but there is a free bus ride to Senior Awareness Day. San Joaquin Regional Transit District (RTD) will provide transportation services from the Escalon Community Center, 1055 Escalon Ave to the San Joaquin County Senior Awareness Day at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds. A sign-up sheet will be available on the eTrans bus, at Escalon City Hall and Escalon Community Center. The event is from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 22.

Starting at 7:30 a.m. shuttle buses will leave every half hour from SJ Delta College, SHIMA 2 parking lot at corner of Pershing / Venetian.  Returning buses will leave the fairgrounds every half hour until 1:30 p.m.
