Reservations Required At San Joaquin Campgrounds
park

In a move that was effective as of July 1, camping reservations are now required at three regional parks in San Joaquin County, park officials have announced.

Reservations will be required at Dos Reis Regional Park in Lathrop, Westgate Landing Regional Park in Lodi and Stillman Magee Regional Park in Clements. Currently, camping and day-use are temporarily suspended at Stillman Magee due to overcrowding concerns. Rafter loading/unloading is permitted only. Same-day reservations may be accepted if available, and all reservations must be made through the Parks Administrative Office, located inside Micke Grove Regional Park in Lodi.

Reservations will only be accepted from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Monday through Friday and can be made either by credit card at (209) 953-8800 or in person at the Parks Administrative Office, 11793 N. Micke Grove Road, Lodi.

The new policy will eliminate first-come, first-serve usage at the campgrounds, as well as the 21-day advance reservation requirement. Policy regarding day-use amenities at these parks remains unchanged.

Due to COVID-19, there is a 10-day maximum stay at Dos Reis and Westgate Landing regional parks. Please note, guests are advised to remain home if sick or unwell and practice social distancing to prevent COVID-19.

All additional camping rules, regulations and prices remain the same, information can be found on the Parks’ website, www.sjparks.com.
