Reading To The Rescue

Escalon Branch Library will host a unique program on Friday, Dec. 14 at 3:30 p.m., ‘Reading to the Rescue’ in cooperation with Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary.

If you have never read a book to a chicken, this is your chance. All are welcome to bring their favorite book or borrow one from the library and read to the furry and feathered friends of the Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary.

It’s a program open to all ages. Stop by the library to practice your reading skills with barnyard friends as your audience.

The library is at 1540 Second St., Escalon.
