Local residents are encouraged to get their boxes of produce at the Escalon C.A.R.E. Center on Wednesday mornings, the boxes being made available as part of the response to COVID-19.

With many people out of work, the supplement produce boxes are being made available to those in need.

Recent offerings have included nectarines, onions, potatoes, apples and more. C.A.R.E. director Sherrie Vaden said the local food cupboard is open and serving the community; donations are also always welcome. Contact Vaden at 209-417-2048 for more information.
