An early morning accident along Lone Tree Road shortly after 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8 knocked out power to an estimated 200 customers.
Officials said a driver lost control of his vehicle on Lone Tree between Sexton and Brennan, went off the roadway, struck a power pole and then the vehicle rolled over, coming to rest on its side.
According to officials on scene, the driver refused treatment. One pole and several hundred feet of power line were taken out and PG&E crews responding estimated about eight to 10 hours of repair time. The portion of Lone Tree between Brennan and Sexton will be closed during the repairs, officials said.
