With all proceeds going to the Escalon Ministerial Association’s food voucher program over the holidays, all are encouraged to support the Saron Lutheran Church annual Bunco Night on Saturday, Sept. 9.

The evening begins at 4:30 p.m. with a potato bar dinner, followed by Bunco at 6 p.m., staged at the church, 1742 North St., Escalon.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased by calling the church, before noon Tuesdays through Thursdays, at 209-838-7695 or by calling Becky Emery at 209-480-1562. Tickets will be available at the door, but pre-sales are appreciated.

A raffle will also be held that evening. Residents are invited to join in this worthwhile cause; the Escalon Ministerial Association provides food vouchers for those in need during the holidays, helping them put a hot, healthy holiday meal on the table.
