PONY PALS
LIBRARY PONIES

Youngsters crowd around the makeshift ‘corral’ in the Ekholm Meeting Room at the Escalon Public Library on Oct. 4, as the Pony Pals therapeutic miniature horses stopped by for a visit. The kids were eager to ask questions and, following a presentation on how the horses are used as support animals and to provide a little therapy when they visit various locations, those attending had a chance to get inside the fence to brush and pet the horses, the patient and gentle equines enjoying the attention.
