Escalon Police are continuing to investigate a reported sexual battery that occurred late night on Friday, Aug. 31.

Shortly after 11:30 p.m. Friday, the Escalon Police Department took a report of a female victim of a sexual battery. The incident occurred in the area of Escalon Avenue by the Escalon High School soccer field.

According to the police report, the victim was walking home on the east side of Escalon Avenue when the incident occurred. The suspect’s vehicle is a tan or gold SUV, possibly a GMC Yukon.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult in his late 20s, with a crew cut, brown hair, brown eyes, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a thin build. There was no clothing description provided at the time of the report.
