The popular Southern Gospel music group, The Herb Henry Family, will present a Gospel Concert at Escalon First Baptist Church on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 6:30 p.m. The concert is being co-hosted by Escalon First Baptist Church and Impact Community Church.

The Herb Henry Family has come to be recognized as “California’s First Family of Gospel Music.” Since 1986 they have been joyfully presenting the gospel in song. Their personal appearances have taken them from small country churches to large arenas and concert halls. Over the past decade they have sung each Sunday in their home church in Modesto and have traveled during the week to perform gospel concerts throughout California, Oregon, Washington, and Nevada. In addition, the Herb Henry Family hosts a weekly radio program on Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m. on KCBC 770 AM or streaming at www.770kcbc.com.

No admission fees are requested for the concert, but an offering will be taken in support of the ministry of the Herb Henry Family (Richland Ministries). Escalon First Baptist Church is at 1511 Catherine Way in Escalon. The facility is shared with Impact Community Church. The First Baptist congregation gathers for worship on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m., while Impact Community Church gathers on Saturday evenings at 6:30 p.m. (English speaking service) and Sunday afternoons at 1p.m. (Spanish Speaking Service).
