Several agencies were called in to assist Escalon Fire on Thursday, June 6 when firefighters responded for the report of a barn on fire shortly before 7 p.m., with the call in the 13000 block of South Van Allen Road. Upon arrival crews found a large hay stack on fire and mutual aid was quickly requested. Firefighters responded with equipment and manpower from Farmington, Collegeville, Manteca, and Salida Fire.
