The former home of Escalon Lumber and Hardware at 1455 First Street in Escalon has undergone extensive renovation … and the businesses now there are ready to welcome the public to a special Grand Opening celebration.

Saturday, Oct. 16 is the date, with hours for the event set from noon to 4 p.m.

Located in the refurbished lumberyard building are Pencie and Ginger, Lumberyard Cellars, Studio Off Main and Total Dairy Solutions.

There will be live music, a food truck, dessert bar, a selfie photo station, giveaways and more.

Purchased by Larry and Shannon Grossi as Shanlar Enterprises, Larry Grossi went to the Escalon City Council in July of 2019 to update them on plans for converting the lumberyard building into a hub for multiple businesses. All of the businesses now located there will be open during the Oct. 16 event.
