McHenry Road Work Will Mean Delays
Road Work Coming

The Improve McHenry Project Team will relocate fiber optic lines from the old to the new McHenry Avenue Bridge. This work will occur at the south end of the McHenry bridge.

One-way traffic control will be in place between 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 29 through 5 a.m. Monday, July 30.

Also, crews will temporarily re-stripe McHenry Avenue, north of the McHenry Avenue and River Road intersection. This work will allow crews to shift traffic and straighten out the transition onto the new bridge over the SSJID Canal near Meyers Road.

This work will require one-way traffic control on Monday, July 30 through Wednesday, Aug. 1 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Motorists are asked to plan their travels accordingly.

The project team thanks motorists for their patience and cooperation.
