As the days of summer vacation slip to an end, and the students go back to the regular routine of getting up every morning at 6:30 a.m., your local Escalon FFA Chapter is also putting things into gear. Throughout the year, the Escalon FFA chapter does several fundraising events to help fund chapter activities and expenses. Come September 6th, the “You’ve Been Farmed” fundraising event starts. This fundraiser stretches several weeks and includes the process of leaving wood cutouts of livestock animals around town which can be removed from the property by a donation to the chapter. This is an annual tradition which raises money for your local chapter in a fun, community involved way.
