Several Escalon High School seniors spent some time at the recent Sober Grad tri tip dinner fundraiser helping out by delivering meals curbside and keeping items organized; they will receive money off the cost of their Sober Grad ticket on graduation night for their volunteer hours. Workers were, from left, Mary Adams, Priscilla Nowling, Elliott Mello, Grace Stime, Steven Grossi, Matt Zakel and Dalsin Alves. “They are a bunch of great kids and were wonderful to work with,” said Sober Grad co-coordinator Debbie Leal. A total of 160 meals were sold. Leal said they are currently looking for people to help organize the Sober Grad event and also need help decorating for the festivities at the end of the school year.
