The old ‘quad’ on the campus of Escalon High School is undergoing a facelift this summer as part of a major project at the school, which includes renovations to the new gym, including the addition of air conditioning, and expansion and improvements to the music room, locker rooms and a reconfigured quad area. The former snack bar has been removed, as it was being used only for storage, opening up the area for other uses. School will be back in session later this month, though some construction work will continue past the opening day of classes.
