Pursuit, K9 Search Ends With Arrest

A 25-year-old Farmington man was booked into San Joaquin County Jail on multiple warrants following a police pursuit on Friday, March 23.

Arrested was Alexandro Xavier, jailed without bail on warrants from a number of agencies, including a no bail felon in possession of a firearm warrant from the Escalon Police Department.

He is due for a court appearance on Monday afternoon, March 26 in Stockton.

Police took him into custody after an initial pursuit and then utilizing a K9 officer to find him in a barn in the area of Arthur and Brennan roads. The vehicle he was driving struck a berm while attempting to turn around in a driveway along Escalon Avenue and he fled the scene on foot. With assistance from the K9 officer, Xavier was located and detained. Officers also employed a Taser in subduing the subject.
